Our AGM is a yearly celebration of the work and activity we have enjoyed as members of the Malmesbury Branch of the Embroiderers' Guild.
This year's AGM will be held on Tuesday 10th September from 7-9pm at the historic Malmesbury Town Hall.
As well as an exhibition of members' projects and the usual AGM business of electing the committee for 2013-2014, we will also be welcoming two speakers to the event.
Firstly, Linda Babb from Brunel Broderers will be joining us to talk about Eygptian Weaving.
And secondly, we welcome Jackie Hall who is an expert and teacher in traditional Japanese embroidery.
We hope you will be able to join us at this celebration and look forward to welcoming new members and to a fulll year of workshops and talks about embroidery, stitching and creativity.

Our Celebration of Stitch day was held on Saturday 3rd August at Malmesbury Town Hall in the Jackdaw Cafe. We were thrilled that our Group banner is nearing completion - not far to go now.
Some of our members met up to share their sewing projects over a cappacino, milkshake and smoothies.
It was really nice to see everyone and their embroidery creations. It's good to have some feedback, share ideas and have some fun.
Those of us who took part in this Countrywide Embroiderers Guild event had such an enjoyable few hours that we are thinking of asking the cafe manager if we can do it again - perhaps even on a regular basis.
